The mission of Girls Incorporated of Bay County is to inspire girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold through educationally based after school and summer programs. For over 35 years Girls Inc. of Bay County has provided services to all girls’ ages 6-16 within the Bay County area. Our vision is to encourage young women to develop their capacities, to be self-sufficient and responsible
members of the community; to believe in themselves and shoot for the stars. The organization serves as a vigorous proponent for girls, focusing attention on their unique needs by providing opportunities for social, cultural, recreational and vocational education and enrichment.

Our center is open after school during the school year and all day during the summer. Last year, Girls Incorporated served over 600 girls in the community. It is a place where girls are taken seriously; yet, girls can have fun, be with their peers and have a staff that cares very much about them and their particular needs.

Funds made from the Half Marathon, 5K and Relay go directly to the Girls Incorporated organization. We are in the business of inspiring girl to grow up to be Strong, Smart and Bold.
